Job Description Summary
The Anesthesia and Respiratory Care (ARC) business develops anesthesia and respiratory equipment, that is both cost effective and elegant. We are looking for an experienced System Verification and Validation Engineer who has responsibilities primarily contributing to ensuring product quality and being a key player in advancing verification methodologies for product hardware and software within the ARC engineering teams.

You should be able to understand the system requirements and system design, analyze and design the test procedures to verify the requirements.
Hands on work needs to be executed on the anesthesia and respiratory machines.
You will be responsible for the conducting the verification on the system and capture the verification results as per the GE standards and SDLC guideline.
At times you may also need to visit the external agencies for the verification to be conducted as planned in the program activities (within or outside India).
You are responsible to interact with cross functional teams to identify the dependencies and resolve them.
You are expected to work with a big team of 15-20 members and also guide and ramp up the new consultants as and when they join us.
You are expected to involve in the technical reviews of the verification procedures and results with SMEs and experts.
You should have Bachelors or Masters qualification in one of the following streams Computer Science or allied subjects, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation technologies.
Required skills for the Job role
You should have an hands on experience of 4 plus years in System validation and verification.
You should have worked in analyzing the system requirements, writing the Design verification procedures and test cases, performing the verification activities on the systems, documentation of the verification results.
You should have an experience in the verification tools like CQ, DOORS and ALM etc.
Hands on working experience in verifying the embedded systems which involves rich mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and software design.
Experience or exposure to the medical system and devices would be helpful.
Experience in understanding the medical device applicable IEC/ISO standards would be helpful
