  • Execute test scripts on a range of touch controllers on Hardware & PC based Software
  • Accurately record test findings, in line with agreed procedures
  • Assist in issue fixing and subsequent testing/re-testing
  • Provide timely status reports on testing and findings to Team Leader
  • Assist with development of automatic testing of software systems
  • Update and develop test cases
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant products

Job Requirements

Essential skills

  • 2 to 6 years experience of Embedded system product testing techniques and approaches
  • Experience in I2C, SPI and USB
  • Experience in using embedded programmers and debuggers
  • Experience in handling test and diagnostic equipment e.g. Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers
  • Experience in Configuration Management tools e.g. SVN and defect tracking tools e.g. JIRA
  • Experience in test case design and testing of Embedded software and systems
  • Experience of circuit fault finding
  • Experience of schematic and PCB reading

Desired skills

  • Experience with Capacitive touch is a Plus
  • Experience in scripting or coding languages Python, xml, C is a Plus

People skills

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE or Computer science
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to work in collaborative group environment
  • Be able to reach out to different stakeholders to solve any problem, as situations demand
  • Be able to work with multi-site cross-functional teams
  • Adhere to standards, guidelines and best practices
