Regional Data Steward-The Americas, HSBC Global Asset Management (USA) Inc., New York, NY.
Support and drive development of the operational processes for data. Provide expertise to the Data Management Teams and key business stakeholders with offshoring work. Take responsibility for Group Data Governance, Data Quality and data processes in the development of data stewardship and quality processes in support of the mastering of data. Drive forward changes and improvements aimed at implementing data change local and global domains in accordance with data standards and policies. Engage in dependencies analysis, risk identification and identify mitigation options. Responsible for escalating areas where the local operating practices do not meet the Global Data standards, utilising the Data Quality processes and tools put in place by HSBC group to track and manage this. Oversee the local data teams and country stewards and work to manage, maintain and improve processes on an ongoing basis.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Banking, Finance, or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, related work experience.
Qualifying experience must include:
- Data management.
- Asset management
- Project Implementation in a data change delivery environment, including defining operating models
- Analytic expertise in operational change and business impact
- Group Data Governance, Data Quality and data processes in the development of data stewardship and quality processes in support of the mastering of data
International Travel required up to 5% as needed
