Join Oracle's Cloud native applications development team to create core mobile applications in the 5G network. Oracle’s cloud native applications enables routing, traffic management and load-balancing tasks to create an architecture that enables your 5G networks to grow incrementally to support increasing service and traffic demands.

Job Description:
This is a Senior DevOps Engineer position that will involve the following :

Main Responsibilities:
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Test, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
Test and Automation of Oracle 5G application software on cloud native platform.
Interact with software teams to ensure proper test coverage and high quality of the projects delivered to production.
Troubleshoot and analyze application issues to root cause where possible.
Build and Manage the complete Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines of 5G products
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required:
Experience in build automation
Experience in Cloud native technologies (micro services)
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience in Agile methodology.
Experience using Kubernetes and Docker based framework.
Experience with networking protocol or networking software.
Experience in shell scripting and proficiency in linux.
Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
Experience in deploying software in large telecom environment.
Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a difference in a dynamic, fast paced organization.
Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
Working experience in following technologies are preferred: GIT, GIT Lab, Jenkins, Python, Oracle DB, MySQL DB, Perl Scripts, Linux, Bash scripting, RPMs, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, IoT, Cloud

Job Requirements:
BS/MS in computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of 6+ years of software testing experience.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
