You will be responsible for developing the positioning and messaging that for IoT Control Center. You will create customer-facing and sales-enabling content including websites, presentations, videos, collateral, whitepapers, etc. You will also provide timely buyer insights and help identify market opportunities and analyze trends & threats. Your performance will be measured by your ability to execute on growth-marketing strategies, and to work effectively with others – including product management, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and product marketers in other Cisco business groups – to achieve measurable results.

Be the expert on Connectivity Management (IoT / non-IoT), competition, and its industry verticals.
Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and content that is differentiated, defensible and monetizable. Help customers and partners more effectively evaluate and choose us.
Work with all levels of the organization and partner closely with product management and sales on marketing strategies, content creation, and the development and launch of new products, releases, and updates.
Create effective go-to-market plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Collaboration, Security, Infrastructure) to deliver coordinated marketing materials for Cisco IoT solutions.
Work in close collaboration with the rest of the marketing team that helps market the content you will create and also the digital marketing team who helps with demand generation, campaigns, SEO, etc.
Help with or drive the storyboarding of demos, training, collateral, and other content the field needs to accelerate pipeline growth, close deals, and shorten time-to-market. Enable sales with knowledge and tools required to increase win rates, stickiness, and revenue growth
Optimize and manage KPI's to measure the efficiency of product marketing. Who You'll Work With

You are passionate about playing a key role in driving business transformation at the cutting edge of IoT to simplify, optimize and scale the next wave of digitalization. Minimum qualifications include:
Difference Maker: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in a product marketing role that drove deeper engagement with target audiences, increased adoption, and delivered bottom-line results.
Ability to bring people and teams together: You are a master at developing, and leading cross-functional teams and relationships within and beyond the organization to drive business results. You are comfortable working with and influencing people at all levels of the organization.
Global/Multi-product mindset: You have a proven track record for developing, prioritizing, and promoting/cross-promoting multiple product lines simultaneously, spanning multiple audiences, industries & international markets, hardware & software. Bonus points if you have connectivity management experience and/or direct IoT experience and have worked with customers in verticals such as Transportation, Manufacturing, Utilities, Oil, and Gas, etc.
Deep audience knowledge: You are a quick study, committed to knowing your customers, their industries, and your competition better than anyone – who they are, their care-abouts, considerations, and behaviors. You’re exceptional at making findings actionable for sales, product management and marketing, as well as using the information to develop marketing strategies. Experience with influencers such as analysts and the press is highly desirable.
Messaging and storyteller master: You are in a class of your own when it comes to articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can craft a compelling narrative across different audiences, markets, and channels, and know-how to develop strong messaging maps and effective content strategy plans. Plus, you must have solid writing skills of your own.
Sales Enablement: The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits and transfer that knowledge to the sales team and our customers, is crucial. Under your mentorship, cross-functional marketing and content teams will effectively communicate our product value propositions and deliver the sales tools that support the selling cycles for your products
